Yo Dudes! try and keep this Saturday free as Ryderz will have their first ride together. Nothing long distance. I'll try to plan for something nice, with a bit of downwhill, not too much uphill. and a whole lot of fun.
I'm thinking of riding along Sembawang Road from Prab's house, in the direction away from Sembawang. There is a small road near Kathib Camp that is one long nice downhill. The downhill itself is at least 40 seconds to a minute long. It's a normal road with a bit of gravel so we have to be careful not to fall. At the end of the downhill, we'll come out at a park near Seletar reservoir. From here I'm thinking riding over to Safra to maybe play pool or something. Just chillax, after which we will cycle back to Sembawang for our oh-so-routine gathering on Saturdays.
Tell me what you guys want and I'll see if I can incorporate it into the ride.
Also, I dont want to make it very rigid for Ryderz, but I think we should have a very felxible training schedule. I'm not saying have a certain day each week to meet up, but like a list of exercises and tricks we can use to better our riding. We are after all a group of bikers, and once we improve our skills, we can go out and find more exciting things to ride over.
Till then, here's a quote to get you thinking:
The Uphill is the most painful process in any ride...But the Downhill at the end of it is all worth it.
In other words, you have to EARN your donwhill.
See ya guys around and take care dudes.

Ryderz Buy Their Steeds!
Prabs and Ganesh. What can I say?
You guys amazed me today with your decision to buy your own bikes. I must say I'm surprised and proud of your dedication to our cause, which is to have reckless fun!
By tomorrow, Sathin will have his own bike and soon I will be the only own trying to scramble to find a bike for myself. I got one in mind, butnow I'm thinking. While I go online shopping for bikes, here's some photos of the Ryderz special Moments... (Dont mind me giving names to your bikes girls...Just part of the fun!)

The Birth of a New Terror!!!
To my fellow 999 Ryders;
Slick Sathin
Gangsta Ganesh
Tenacious Prabs
This message from Dangerous Yoga
This is the first 999 Ryders post. I have made it official.
999 Ryders should be Sembawang's official (or rather un-official) bicycle gang.
We would provide community support at low extortion rates.
We would get into trouble with the police on a routine basis (We will set a schedule for this and propose to the police post)
We would also get the PAYM grant to sponsor us the bikes that we are going to use to terrorize their neighborhood.
We will send out proposals to everyone to approve this...
Ok, on a more serious note, I thought it'd be fun to have a small blog for ourselves as we catalog or different riding experiences.
i really want to buy a bike and start riding around. I dont't know about you guys, but I want to just feel wind in my face and go really fast. That's why I will save up and buy a cheap bike first.
If you guys really want to have as much fun as me, then join me. We will have fortnightly rides around Sembawang. Just us Ryders.
Eventually people will join. We can post pictures up here of our different rides, just talk cok and stuff...
But remember that 999 Ryders is sworn to secrecy.
No matter how many people we recruit, the 4 Original Ryders shall never reveal the true meaning of out name...
Triple Nine Ryders...
